History/Bio:

“Chuck” was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. When he was 10, his family moved to northern Alberta so his dad could work in the oilpatch as an industrial electrician. When the repercussions of the National Energy Policy and recession shut things down hard, Chuck’s family moved to coastal BC (working in pulp and paper). Chuck spent the remainder of his pre-adult life in the greater Vancouver area. Chuck’s dad passed away in 2001 in a multi-vehicle collison. He has two sisters and one brother.

Chuck is a capable SIGINT officer (signals intelligence). He joined the Canadian Army through the Officer Training Program upon completion of high school and attained the rank of Sergeant. The program also allowed him to obtain a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia (1994).

Position/Occupation on Atlantis:
Military -– Canadian, seconded to the SGC under the aegis of the IOC
